Collection and processing of your personal information
IPC (The International Press Centre) processes your personal information when you have registered for a media accreditation via the IPC website.
According to paragraph 6 of the regulations (vedtægter) of the IPC, the organisation is tasked with managing the accreditation of media representatives at official events in Denmark.
By accepting this statement, you have given consent to the IPC’s collection and processing of your information in order for the IPC to process the registrations for media accreditations.
The IPC collects and processes the following information about you:
The -first name and family name you have entered
The e-mail address you have entered
Telephone number
Information about your media organisation
Nationality of your media organisation
Information about press card yes/no
If applicable, press card number and issuer of press card
Information about your function: Reporter, photographer, TV Camera, etc.
Information about which (numbered) press pools you have applied for
The collected information is used to enable the IPC to process the registrations and applications for press pools at official events in Denmark thereby making it possible for media to cover these events.
In order for the IPC to comply with the Danish “freedom of information regulation”, the following information will be registered in the IPC’s digital archive:
The -first name and family name you have entered
The E-mail address you have entered
Information about your media organisation
Nationality of your media organisation
Information about press card yes/no
Information about your function: Reporter, photographer, TV Camera, etc.
Information about which (numbered) press pools you have applied for
When the official event has taken place the following information submitted by registrants will be deleted:
Telephone number
Information about your press card number and issuer of press card

Your rights
Pursuant to Article 15 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to obtain from the data controller confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed.
You also have the right to object to IPC's processing of your information pursuant to Article 21 of the EU GDPR. In addition, pursuant to Article 16-18 of the EU GDPR, you have the right to correct, delete or block information that appears to be incorrect or misleading or similarly treated in violation of the law.

The right to withdraw your registration
As long as the registration process for an event is open for entries via the IPC website, registrants may choose to withdraw a filed registration. The registrant is requested to e-mail the IPC at [email protected] For each event a date with the deadline for registrations is published at the IPC website.
If the registration is withdrawn the only the e-mail correspondence between the registrant and the IPC will be registered in IPC’s digital archive.
Complaint to Data Inspectorate
You are entitled to complain about IPC's processing of your information to the Data Inspectorate in accordance with the provisions of Article 77 of the EU Data Protection Regulation.
